The Federal Constitutional Court of Germany
- Karlsruhe has a long history of valuing democracy, human rights, and liberty.
- Carl Friedrich, the founder's grandson, made an official act in which he granted the freedom to serve and abolished the feudal system a few years before the French Revolution.
- So, it is no surprise that Karlsruhe is home to the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany.
- It was designed by Berlin architect Paul Baumgarten in 1969 and perfectly represented the court's transparency.
- The large windows covering the whole building make it look like it flows.
Karlsruhe Market Square
- The Town Hall is a large red sandstone structure where car and bicycle models can be seen. This is because Karl Benz, the inventor of the first automobile, was born in Karlsruhe.
- In addition to being known as the most bicycle-friendly city in Germany, the city was also home to a well-known bicycle factory.
- The Karlsruhe Protestant Church is located directly across from the town hall.
- It was designed by the famous Karlsruhe architect Friedrich Weinbrenner.
- The same architect designed other buildings in the city, such as the Karlsruhe Catholic Church and the Karlsruhe Mint.
- The influences of Roman architecture could be seen in all of them.
- The city founder's resting place, in the shape of a pyramid, is in the centre of Market Square. Originally made of wood, it was later rebuilt in the typical sandstone seen on many city buildings.

Karlsruhe Culture and Traditions
- Because Karlsruhe was founded in 1715, it lacks the Medieval alleyways found in many other German destinations.
- Baden's Margrave Karl-Wilhelm had his dream city designed from the ground up, with the opulent palace at its heart and 32 streets and avenues radiating outward as a compass rose or a fan made of the sun's rays.
- Karlsruhe has always been a city without walls: open, tolerant, and liberal.
- The Marktplatz square, which houses the Protestant church and the Town Hall, is one of Europe's most striking Classicist architectural ensembles.
