- The Schwäbisches Bauernhofmuseum Illerbeuren is a large open-air agricultural museum in Bavaria's Swabia region.

Kartause Buxheim
- The Kartause Buxheim, also known as the Buxheim Charterhouse, is located in Buxheim, near Memmingen.
- It was formerly a Carthusian monastery of the Salesians of Don Bosco. The Diocese of Augsburg now has jurisdiction over it.
- Around 1100, the Kartause Buxheim was founded as a college monastery. It was later given to the Carthusians in 1402 as a Maria Saal monastery, which lasted until 1812.
- According to legend, the monastery housed the Holy Roman Empire's only imperial chart of the German nation. That is, from 1548 to the present.
- A variety of organisations now use the monastery. The German Carthusian Museum uses a portion of it.
- Don Bosco Salesians and a grammar school are also present. A boarding school and a daycare centre are located in other building areas.
Hexenturm
- The Hexetnturm is a tower in Memmingen's old town. It used to be a jail tower. The Leaning Tower of Memmingen is another nickname for it.
- The tower is the city's oldest and best-preserved structure. It was built approximately 1150 when the city was first established.
- The Hexenturm is a gable-roofed rectangular tower. Tuff stone and bricks are used to construct it.
- According to mythology, the tower was allegedly used to hold witches during the historic witch hunts.
- The tower is linked to a superstructure constructed during the city's 14th-century expansion. It acts as a support for the old tower and a tool shed for the yard.
Steuerhaus
- The Steuerhaus, often known as the wheelhouse, is a government facility. It is situated in Memmingen's market square and was built during the Middle Ages.
