Fortress of Suceava
- A chain of fortifications was constructed throughout Moldavia in the fourteenth century as the Ottoman Empire's threat increased.
- Prince Petru II of Moldavia was responsible for their construction, and his successors strengthened the castle in Suceava throughout the ensuing centuries.
- The moat and the current impenetrable defensive walls, which survived a barrage by Mehmed the Conqueror in the 15th century, were constructed by Stephen III.

Dragomirna Monastery

Suceava Must-Attend Festivals and Events
- The Festival of Medieval Arts, held annually in August in the Suceava Fortress, aims to revive the life and spectacles of renaissance and baroque itinerant troupes and the customs from this era that have persisted in the public's memory.
- The festival lasts for eight days and includes historical ceremonials like "the crowning of the Moldavian prince," "traitorous boyars Judgment," or "the ceremony of closing a treaty between Moldavia and Poland," in addition to representations, mediaeval music, plays, juggling, interactive contests, theatrical performances, battles, etc.
