Best Months to Visit Mojacar

destination - Seasons to travel
  • The climate at Mojácar Pueblo is the Mediterranean all year, with dry summers and rainy, warm winters.
  • Summer or late fall is the most acceptable time to visit Mojácar if you prefer spending time in the sun.
  • You may anticipate up to 13 hours of sunlight every day and temperatures as high as 40°C throughout these months.
  • The main disadvantage of travelling during the summer is the peak tourist season, which means many people will have expensive hotel fees.
  • If you don't like the heat, Mojácar Pueblo is even better in the winter, with temperatures hovering around 18°C and fewer people.
  • In my opinion, May/June or September/October are the best times to visit Mojácar Pueblo (and the rest of southern Spain).

Diving in Mojácar

#Fun

  • Diving is more of an active holiday activity; after learning to dive in Honduras last year, I developed an unexpected passion for the undersea environment.
  • Some of our group had never attempted diving before, so we had a practice session in the pool in Mojácar old town before heading out to sea the next day.
  • The Buceo Mojácar staff were fantastic. They took the time to instruct and assist the beginner divers in their first experience with scuba diving, which was also an excellent refresher for the rest of us who hadn't dived in a while.
  • The next day, we went down to Carboneras, which lies on the outskirts of the Caba de Gato natural park and has fantastic visibility.
