Fish and Chips

#Food

  • Although fish and chips is a classic Scottish meal, the Peterhead fish is only found in Aberdeenshire.

  • The chips are made from thick-cut potatoes that have been fried in beef drippings and served with salt or malt vinegar, depending on your preference.
  • Most fish and chip establishments in Aberdeenshire use fish harvested by vessels sailing out of Peterhead Harbour, ensuring freshness and quality.
  • Locals love the 'chipper,' and we're confident you'll enjoy these deep-fried delicacies as much as they do!
