Leavenworth Off the Beaten Track
Stevens Pass
- Stevens Pass is 35 miles west of Leavenworth on Highway 2 and is one of Washington's greatest ski resorts.
- This well-known ski resort is on the peak of the Cascade Range and averages 460 inches of snow each year.
- Between December and April, there are plenty of powder stashes to be found because to the 1,100 acres of snow.
- When the roads are clear, it's only a 40-minute drive from Leavenworth to the ski slopes.
- It's also not a long trip from Seattle to Stevens Pass, with city people putting on their skis in less than two hours.
- Because of its near to Seattle, the mountain attracts large crowds on weekends during the winter. However, with ten chairlifts, the skiing is fairly well distributed.

- LDC, Inc. was engaged to help our client with the Leavenworth Adventure Park's Conditional Use Permit (CUP) and deviations.
- An alpine coaster, bungee trampoline, climbing wall, sluice mining activities, an aerial ropes challenge, and through ferrate climbing experience are all part of this multi-phased project in Leavenworth.
- The concept was first presented to the City in June of 2018 and received a large number of good and negative responses. LDC, Inc. was enlisted to assist in the review of the comments and the creation of a revised application that addressed the issues raised.
- The amended application was submitted in November 2018 and is now awaiting approval.
