Aore Island Resort is a beachfront property nestled within a tropical coconut plantation on Aore (pronounced 'ow-ree') Island, just 3km across the channel from Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu's largest island. Vanuatu, formerly known as New Hebrides, is a group of 83 islands in the Pacific Ocean, approximately 1900km northeast of Brisbane, Australia. Guests fly directly from Australia or connect via Port Vila, Vanuatu's capital, to Pekoa International Airport on Santo. From the airport, it's a short 5-minute drive to the resort ferry, followed by a scenic 10-minute ride across the Segond Channel.
