Located on the Banks of Tonto Creek in the largest Ponderosa Pine Forest in the world, the hotel is historically famous for its western hospitality. The hotel is in Payson, Arizona, at the base of the Mogollon Rim in the area that author Zane Grey made famous with his popular adventures of the Old West. There are shops and restaurants nearby. Phoenix is approximately two hours' drive from the hotel and the Grand Canyon is around 4 hours by car. Event facilities consist of a meeting/conference room and banquet facilities. The staff can arrange concierge services, tour/ticket assistance, wedding services and event catering. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception, as well as a hotel safe. Guests arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel car park. The rooms open out to balconies.
