Walk back through Chinatown, visiting the home of the fortune cookie and continuing into North Beach, San Francisco's Little Italy and the home of the Beat Generation. Just 4 (very steep!) blocks away from the hostel lie the twists and turns of Lombard Street. The Palace of Fine Arts and Golden Gate Bridge are visible from our balcony rooms, so long as the San Francisco fog isn't blocking the view.
